Dear Quilting Friends,
Another year is about to come to an end. We have made some great changes at Ellen's this year. We have added Baby Lock to our sewing machine family. So, with Pfaff and Baby Lock, we have the best of the best for you to choose from for all your sewing and embroidery needs. With 28 models on our show room floor and prices to fit every budget, we really are your "ONE STOP" sewing shop.
We have expanded into the building next door. It was a lot of hard work and many long hours spent , but now it's done. We have literally doubled the size of our shop. We now have a whole room dedicated to FABRIC. And it is AWSOME!!! If you have not been in lately , you need to stop in and check it out. Lots of room, really good lighting and more fabric makes for a great shopping experience .
We are now looking ahead to 2013 and to changes we are going to be making nest year. We plan on lots of new classes. We will be introducing some great continuing education classes on machines, several new Block of the Months, and much, much more.
With all these great changes come some not so great changes. The hardest one for me is, I have decided to discontinue my longarm quilting service at the shop. This was not a decision I came to lightly. I have really struggled with this. With all the hours spent at the shop and then come home and spend hours quilting, I get really exhausted. I feel that I am not able to give my quilting customers the best quilting service that they deserve. And I am not giving my shop customers the quality service they deserve. So, as of Jan. 1st, 2013 I will no longer be accepting quilt tops to be quilted. I will have a list of local longarm quilters that you can contact for your quilting needs. Stop in or contact the shop for the list.
The other change is really a NO change. I had talked about being open on Mondays. I have come to the decision to still be closed on Mondays.
If there is a class you would like us to have or if there is a class you would like to teach (we are always looking for good teachers), tell us and we will see what we can do.
Thank you to all our friends and customers who have helped us be successful this year. Without you there would be no us.
See you soon,
Ellen, Dave, Cindy, Sandy and Jenny
